About Me & My Vision
My name is Sarka, a branding photographer for Women in business, art and all industries.
The main idea of my entrepreneurship is to empower women leaders to amplify their voices and visibility in business, art, entrepreneurship through meaningful visuals and personal branding. I have been in photography for long enough, seeing that women are in some societies pushed to the sidelines and has to deal with male domination not only business, but in many areas of life.
That is one of the reasons, why I decided to focus primarily, though not exclusively, on telling women's stories through photography. Growing up in a highly traditional, male-dominated society where women were expected to serve and sacrifice shaped my perspective deeply. It inspired me to stand firmly for women’s rights and gender equality—and to use my photographic skills to help women be seen, share their stories, and reach their full potential.
In my practice, when I photograph someone, I always take time to listen to your propositions and let you be yourself in front of the camera.
I also share my ideas with you, but your input is just as important. Whether you have suggestions for the location, mood, or style, I'm always open to collaboration.

My Story
My journey with photography began in my teenage years, wandering the streets with my first analog camera.
That early curiosity eventually led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Art, and Design from the Art Academy and to a career that has taken me across the world.
Over the years, I’ve photographed diversity of people, places, and moments for magazines, newspapers, and NGOs creating editorial portraits, journalistic photo essays, and documentary work that mostly captured the hard realities of women and children across cultures and communities.
When I became a mother, constant travel was no longer possible. I transitioned from photojournalism to personal brand and event photography, allowing me to stay rooted while still doing the work I love. I also wanted the freedom to build something of my own, to create my own “game,” on my own terms.
The photography niche has changed for me, but the former one has not been forgotten.
One fact has never changed: my passion for connecting with people and telling their stories through meaningful, personal branding.
That drive has inspired me to launch Sarka Brand Photography.
